It can’t be stressed enough that one of PM main objectives is to provide a place where the work of all artists who use photography in their creations, can be promoted and distributed, regardless of the medium used, nationality or location. Hence photographers throughout the world are encouraged to submit their work for the annual exhibitions program.

Submission guidelines

Send ONE e-mail with the works you wish to submit to Esta dirección de correo electrónico está protegida contra spambots. Usted necesita tener Javascript activado para poder verla. and write “2013 [your name and last name]” in the body of the e-mail.

Your application must comply with the following requirements:

1- Candidates worldwide must be at least eighteen years of age and submit only photographs of their authorship.

2- Submit no less than ten and no more than thirty numbered images in jpeg format.






3- Attach ONE Word file titled 2013PRinfo.doc containing information about each image, author’s cv in Spanish or English only, and a brief outline about the work submitted and/or the author’s aim. Include name of file for each image (same as above) + title (if any) + date + author’s name.

3.1- Cv must include full name, date, city and country of birth and be no longer than 300 words, preferably written in third person singular.

3.2- Also include a paragraph describing the works submitted in no more than 300 words, preferably in first person singular.

4- Make sure you have paid the application fee prior to sending the e-mail with your material. If your material is not selected for the program PM will refund this fee minus transfer charges (Western Union, credit card or PayPal). Payments done after the established deadline will not be refunded.

Please review the submission guidelines carefully. Material that does not comply with these requirements will not be considered for inclusion in the program.

5- The results of the selection process will be communicated via e-mail.

Selected works will be granted the following:

5.1- exhibition and promotion in MP website

5.2- bilingual curatorial text (English and Spanish).  

5.3- a place in the bilingual annual book “Art and Photography” (copy of the book not included)

5.4- certificate

Please allow at least thirty days for a response.

Candidates agree to allow their works to be used for promotional purposes provided their names are also acknowledged.

By participating in the selection process candidates agree to what is set forth in the above guidelines.
